This is my seventeenth nikon camera. It is a point & shoot 35mm film camera which was introduced in 1985. Made of plastic and a built-in lens with a focal length of 35mm and an f-stops of 2.8. It also have a built-in flash which can fire automatically in low light situation. I haven't tried it yet though, but soon I will buy a film to test this camera.

I have one of these Nikon LAF2 cameras and it takes superb photos. There is some vignetting but the lens is sharp and the colours are great. The noise the shutter and wind-on mechanism make is fun...it's fairly quiet and sort of sexy....a bit like ssppssp....very smooth. My copy was bought from ebay for a very low price and is in absolute mint condition with the case...what a bargain !
